Description
The S115 submersible Linear Position Sensor 10Bar, is a heavy-duty version of the submersible S114 sensor with a stronger push rod and fixings, recommended for applications where vibration is an issue or there is a need for longer travel sensors to be mounted horizontally between rod eyes. It remains an affordable, durable, high-accuracy position sensor designed for applications where the sensor would be completely submerged during normal operation, up to a pressure of 10Bar. The unit is highly compact and space-efficient, being responsive along almost its entire length. Like all Positek sensors, the S115 Submersible Linear Position Sensor provides a linear output proportional to displacement. Each sensor is supplied with the output calibrated to the travel required by the customer, from 0-5mm to 0-800mm and with full EMC protection built in.
The sensor is very robust, the body and push rod being made of stainless steel for long service life and environmental resistance.
Overall performance, repeatability and stability are outstanding over a wide temperature range. The sensor is easy to install with mounting options including stainless steel M8 rod eye bearings and body clamps. The push rod can be supplied free or captive, with female M8 thread, or an M8 stainless steel rod eye. The S115 also offers a wide range of mechanical and electrical options, environmental sealing is to IP68 10Bar.
All of Positek’s position sensors are manufactured to the highest quality and use our very own patented non-contact technology. This helps to ensure the highest levels of accuracy and reliability, even in the harshest of environments. Every position sensor that Positek manufactures uses their inductive sensor technology to ensure high-precision results, and is fully customisable to meet the unique requirements of your business.
With over 25 years’ experience as a sensor manufacturer and using our onsite production facility, Positek has the flexibility to manufacture and customise any industrial position sensor, including tilt sensors and inclinometers, to any size or specification.
